Blue Lotus, also called Blue Lily of the Nile, Egyptian Lotus, Nymphaea Cearulea or Nymphaea stellata, has been used as a sedative and hallucinogenic throughout time. When simply ingested the hallucinogenic effects are usually mild, however, by preparing a wine it can be optimized.
This is a strong 20x extract from the Blue Lotus flower with a high concentration of aporphine and nuciferine. It also contains phosphodiastrates, bioflavonoids and phytosterols. The first is a stimulant similar to viagra, the second group is a powerful anti-oxidant common in many fresh foods and the latter is similar to the known active constituent of Ginkgo biloba.
The effects of the blue lotus are both narcotic and euphoric, becoming slightly hallucinating at higher doses. It is also said that the flower improves sexuality and has an effect similar to Viagra.
Nuciferine is correlated to the dopamine receptor blockade which controls motivation, pleasure, cognition, memory, learning, and fine motor control. This could induce sedation, hypothermia (bodily temperature drops), in higher doses decreased sensitivity to pain and it acts as an antispasmodic (muscle relaxer).
Usage
When 0.25 gram is soaked in wine for 24 hours it will have a noticeable and very pleasant synergy with the wine.
Another way of ingesting Blue lotus is through vaporizing it at 100°C to 125°C, however, because it is a resin you need to ensure that the vaporizer used is appropriate for this (such as the Magic Flight Launch Box in combination with the Herbal Concentrate tray, Ascent, etc).
To make tea, simply use 0.25 gram and soak in hot water.
