Did you know Scythian and Thracian shamans used cannabis to communicate with the divine? They fumigated themselves with cannabis smoke to achieve ecstasy. 'Kapnobatai’, they were called, which means ‘smoke-walkers'.

The cannabis plant may have served a crucial role in magical and ritual practices of the ancient Greek.
