Valhalla truffles - effects

After about ten minutes to one hour, you will start to notice the first effects, seeing and hearing things more intensely. You'll start to notice a rapid change in the perception of ordinary reality, seeing yourself and your environment from a new perspective. This often results in hilarious insights and a good deal of laughter. There may also be a sense of confusion when your mind and intellect can no longer grasp what's going on. As the outer confusion intensifies, the inner visions (best seen in a dark or dimly lit room) become clearer.

The nature of the trip depends upon the person taking the sclerotia and the mood or state of mind this person is in. Although one may experience similar effects, each experience will still be unique and very personal.

The sclerotia trip takes about 6 hours, coming in waves, and wears down gradually.

Although the body can handle psilocybin quite well, the mind can get quite confused, which is why truffles must be taken in a safe, familiar environment, preferably with a sober and experienced sitter nearby.

Preparing sclerotia

These are fresh truffles and must be kept in the refrigerator. Take 3-5 grams for a normal trip and 5 to 10 grams for a strong trip. True psychonauts can try 10-15 grams. First time users of Valhalla are advised to take a maximum of 7-8 grams. It's best to take sclerotia on an empty stomach.

Please note: it is possible that during the shipping process the sclerotia dry a little bit. This decreases their weight. But don't worry: the truffles will be just as strong as the dosage mentioned on the package.

The most common and efficient way to use truffles is to eat them, on an empty stomach. Sometimes this gives a heavy feeling in the stomach, which can be a disturbing sensation while tripping. Although psilocybin is sensitive to heating, it's possible to make truffle tea, which is tastier and easy to digest than fresh or dried truffles. Add some (shredded) truffles to a pot of hot water. Let it steep for about 20 minutes on low heat. You can then add a little honey or sugar and drink the tea. Another method is to simply pour some hot water on the truffles, let it soak for about 10 minutes, and then repeat the procedure with new hot water. Please note: boiling hot water can damage the active components of your truffles. Make sure to let the water cool down for a couple of minutes before adding it to the truffles.

It's of no use taking sclerotia two days in a row because your body immediately builds up a tolerance for psilocybin. You must wait at least three or four days before you can do sclerotia again. Most users wait a couple of weeks or months before they plan their next trip.

Warning

Do not use when pregnant or nursing. Do not take if you're severely depressed or if you have a latent psychosis. Do not combine with stimulants or alcohol, or medication that affects your nervous system (MAO-i, SSRI, etc.). Do not use with the intent of driving motorized vehicles and do not partake in traffic. Do not use if you're under 18 years old.
