Cannabis indica seeds: what makes them special?

Cannabis indica is one the main cannabis species. Indica plants possess their own characteristics. They have a typical way of flowering, a certain appearance and effect. Expect potent buds, a sweet taste and a relaxed, bodily effect from these seeds, hand-picked by the Azarius staff.

Indica characteristics

Indica plants are known for their size, compared to most sativa plants they are average in height. You probably guessed that this makes them a good choice for indoor growing. Or perhaps outdoor spots where you need some space to move, think balconies. They just are a bit less conspicuous.  So why the name? Cannabis indica originates from the Hindu Kush mountains of Central Asia which cover parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan (which used to be part of India, hence Indica.) 

The leaves of an indica are wide and short and the plant has a bushy structure, as the twigs grow fairly close to each other.

The smell of an indica is more intense, although traditionally it is less sweet than the smell of a sativa. Indica plants contain higher levels of CBD and have a more of a couch-locked and relaxing buzz.

You will notice that most cannabis plants these days are hybrids which combine different traits from Indica and Sativa. Still, we tried to select ten strains that present that Indicia feel, with plenty of Kush variants like the beautiful Purple Kush next to legends like Northern Lights and Super Skunk.
