Leonurus sibiricus, known as Siberian motherwort and little marijuana, has been used in Asia for many centuries for its relaxing and soothing effects. In South America and Mexico, the herb is nicknamed "marihuanilla" (little marijuana).
Mixed in a blend of herbs or used on itself it is said to be a mild intoxicant, although it has been confirmed that the plant contains alkaloids such as leonurine, it is not exactly known what causes this intoxication. Traditional use ranges very wide.
Usage / dosage
The extract is 25x. This means that 1 gram of extract is as strong as 25 grams of herb. Dissolve half a teaspoon of extract in boiling water (150 ml) and let it set for 10 minutes.
