“HI!
Have a question for you azarius..
How long should it take from the moment i take off the lid and put the boxes into the filterbags until the mushrooms start commming?
It have now past almost 2 weeks, no sign of any mushrooms. The mycel is clear white, and everything look good allright, but I am a bit worried. Thought it would take less than 2 weeks, but maby I am wrong..?
Please post me an answer soon!
Best regards”

“Grand!
On my 6th growth and found me the ways. A tip is to used boiled water and letting it cool down to 23 degrees (room temp). And as it boils, add a tea spoon of plaster. The plaster is for calcium that is in it, provides a healthy growth for dem pesky shrooms.
Also for drying and to cut it down to 12 hours without spoiling the cells. Use a bowl, close to a radiator and tin foil, the tin foil leading the heat over the mushrooms and a space for he heat to go out on the other side.
DON'T freeze your mushrooms, this breaks cells and kills the mycelium and lowers the potency. If you dry them right you can have them in a jar for a few months and they won't spoil
DON'T use the oven to dry, for every ten degrees over room temp, mycelium starts breaking down. And if they reach over 60°c you might as well eat them for dinner, because a lot of the potency is gone.
