The traditional African initiation is a part of the healing process for her. She has suffered from a disease for over a year and hopes the eating of the holy plant can be the start of a new phase in her life.

In this 50 minute documentary different aspects of this extraordinary substance are shown by personal experiences and explanations of ex-addicts, treatment providers and experts.
