When you take into consideration his subsequent 2009 Rigning CD one detects a more beat driven Basic Channel stirrings and recent Deepchord, Gas, and Vladislav Delay influences. All good and well.

This is all of those and more. It's more lush, exotic, definitely atmospheric, and ethereal with a hint of dub so one an stay away from the dubious 'beautiful' moniker. To say this music will send you is akin to asking where is the space capsule. No need. One listen and you are gone. The confines of an intergalactic vessel would only limit what is undefinable.

Suffice to say one very talented musician has opened the valves and let the the heavens pour in. Brusque enough to make one shudder. Enchanting enough to quell any storm. It's mighty and more. ”
