Bluetech - Sines and Singularities

Bluetech's Sines and Singularities will bring you right into a joyful trance with its cosmic, intelligent, harmonious chillout. It amplifies your mind, taking you through a soothing and uplifting journey.

There are wonderful little details all over this album, in every layer of the spectrum. Backed up by years of classical piano playing, Israel-based Bluetech plays with effects and variations on sounds, with detailed bits of sound in the range of 32nds and 64ths, giving that nice, spacey, glitchy psy-chill edge most of us love.
Funky synths, trancy strings, dubby delays and spacious reverbs are all over this album. It is unique to hear them used with such production quality, because Sines and Singularities sounds really steady and warm.
Where many contemporary psy'ish producers fail to be distinct, in my humble opinion, is in their melodies. Only rarely the melodies really move me and sound like they come from the soul. Although Bluetech's second album is perfectly suitable for chilling out to, when really listening to Sines is when you realise how much of Evan Marc's soul resonates in these tracks.
Highly recommended for chilling out, meditation and psychedelic experiences.

“for one thing, bluetech isnt israeli, he is from Oregon.
This album, is a great example of the skill and complexilty that Evan has rendered in a psychedelic dub soundscape. Its a great addition to the body of work released in the Elementary Particles, and I eagerly await his next release.”
