This tea contains guarana nuts; it provides an energy boost in the morning.

Paulinnia cupana or guarana is a very popular herb among Amazon Indians. Guarana powder contains about 4.2% cafeine. The cafeine in guarana is assimilated better and more evenly by the body than the cafeine in coffee. Indians have known the stimulating effects of guarana for centuries and primarily used it to stay fit while hunting.

Hibiscus sabdariffa commonly known as hibiscus or Roselle, grows in many tropical and sub-tropical countries.
High in vitamin C and bioflavonoid, hibiscus has slightly astringent properties. It can be useful for treating mild colds. The flavour is somewhat tart, with a sweet aftertaste.

Rosehips or rose haws are the pods that form at the base of the rose flower. Many varieties of roses form hips, particularly wild roses (Rosa rugosa) . Within the little red-orange globe are the rose seeds. From a health perspective, they known for their high content of vitamin C. It is one of the richest plant sources. Native Americans have been using rosehips as tea for thousands of years.

Guarana is an energizer and contains cafeine.

Usage

Mix 1 table spoon with 1/4 of a liter of boiling water and let the tea steep for at least 10-15 minutes.

Guarana (with approximately 4,2% caffeine, B guaranine, theobromine, theofilline, proteins, fibres, minerals and carbohydrates)

Hibiscus (high in vitamin C and biofavonoids)

Rosehips (high content of vitamin C)

Apple

Citron peel
