Tea Fruit with Rhoibos

This fruit tea contains a fine mix of red bush, hibiscus, rosehips, apple and citron.

Hibiscus sabdariffa commonly known as hibiscus or Roselle, grows in many tropical and sub-tropical countries.
Being high in vitamin C and bioflavonoids, hibiscus has slightly astringent properties. It can be useful for treating mild colds. The large, tropical hibiscus flowers make a beautiful ruby red tea. The flavour is somewhat tart, with a sweet aftertaste.
Rosehips or rose haws are the pods that form at the base of the rose flower. Within the little red-orange globe are the rose seeds. From a health perspective, rosehips are known for their high vitamin C content. It is one of the richest plant sources. Native Americans have been using rosehips as tea for thousands of years.
Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) is African for "red bush"; it is a member of the legume plant family and is used to make tisane (herbal tea). Rooibos has been popular in South Africa for generations. Rooibos has gained popularity in Western countries particularly among health-conscious consumers, who appreciate it for its high level of antioxidants such as super oxide dismutase (SOD). Besides, it contains no caffeine and very little tannin.
