“This vaporizer gets 5 stars from me, because:
-It's multi-functional (aroma therapy, shisha and balloons)
-you can make it portable (by buying the battery)
-compared to other vaporizers of it's class, not so expensive
-IT'S GOT A REMOTE CONTROL !!!
-and the lights beneath it, makes it look f*cking awesome
-you can change the balloon with other bags
And since i'm using all kinds of neat herbs with horrible tastes and their flavour kinda stays in de balloon, i can easily throw away the bag from the mouthpiece, fix an other bag on to it and start using that as a balloon.
There's only 1 little downside, but not really and that's it can be a bit to slow (if you want to thoroughly vaporize it).
and some part don't quite fit well (like putting the balloon on the rubber hose).
But in the end it does it job and it does it well so 5 stars
(PS: you should try peppermint in it at 150-160 C*, it's godlike)”

“Alright now, I’ve been the proud owner of a V-Tower Extreme for two weeks now, and feel it is time to give my fair and balanced assessment of the unit for all the world. I've been interested in vaporizing for some time now. I started out with the standard lightbulb setup, then sidegraded more than upgraded, to an el cheapo conduction-based unit. Neither proved very satisfactory, and I reverted to just smoking pure weed for a while.
Sometime last year I came upon the Vaporgenie, however, which struck me as a small engineering miracle: an ultraportable, butane powered convection vape. I ordered one of these and it has been my default delivery method since. I can get ripped off one bowl of strong Amnesia haze with it, and the hits are dense and tasty. The disadvantage, though, is that the bowl is pretty small, so if you’ve got to smoke more than one bowl’s worth, this may prove to be a bit of a hassle.
I’d say the VG is fine for the quick THC fix, but for other herbs, where you'd need to consume a lot more of to get any effect at all, it is not so ideal. And because vaporizing really opens up the possibilities for safely experimenting with any number of different psychoactive herbs, I eventually decided to invest in a proper forced air vaporizer.
The multi-functionality and particularly the balloon function of the Extreme appealed to me, so after having done some preliminary research I hopped over to the Azarius store (Hurrah!) and picked one of these babies up, only stopping by De Dampkring on my way home for some legal (in Amsterdam, that is) herbs. When opening the box I was struck by how small it is, much smaller than you'd expect. The build quality of the main unit seemed sturdy enough, and it comes with a plethora of bags, glass pieces, whips and related tubing in order to facilitate the different functionalities, all meticulously bubble wrapped.
Now this is something to take into consideration when it comes to the Extreme, namely that if you're planning on doing a lot of travelling with your V-Tower, you'll have to come up with some kind of transportation system for the paraphernalia. The glass parts seem durable enough, but they are glass, hence susceptible to breakage through accidental crushing, dropping, etc. I cut up an old T-shirt to pad the glass parts and kept the Ziploc bag everything came in.
The first thing I wanted to try was the balloon function. I’d never had the fortune of having a session with a Volcano (I am a bit of a Lone Vapor) but balloons always struck me as a superior delivery method. First, however, the balloons had to be assembled, which proved an arduous task – to me - and I was glad I wasn't blazed yet. Maybe I'm just retarded when it comes to interpreting instruction manuals, and eventually I figured it out, but I felt it could have stunted lesser gods. Well, maybe I just didn't want to break anything before getting my vape on.
So I loaded up a moderately packed bowl, hooked the balloon up to the mini-whip, set the temp to 220 and hit the “3” button on the remote. Within minutes I had a big bag of equally cool and flavoursome vapour, but it wasn't very dense. Nevertheless, it got me buzzed, and I filled up a subsequent bag which got me fully ripped. Since then, though, I’ve learned to let the bowl and herbs heat up for a good 4-5 minutes on top of the unit, to experiment with lower fan settings, which allows me to get all the good stuff in one balloon. I read a tip somewhere by someone who progressively turned up the fan speed from 1 to 3 when filling balloons. Five stars for the Extreme already, anyway.
After this night of revelry, I tried the whip the following morning with what was left in the cyclone bowl from the previous night. I was expecting to maybe get a little lifted, but as it turned out the herb was less spent than I’d thought, and I ended up getting high out of my mind first thing in the morning, right before having to go to work. I'd have gotten this unit even if it only inflated balloons, but the whip functionality surpassed my expectations.
Overall, I'd say this unit is worth the cash, and the best vaporizer you can get for the money right now. It's an investment, for sure, but if you're one of those smoke weed everyday types, most definitely worth considering. Again, a proper vaporizer opens up a world of possibilities where other herbs besides everyone’s beloved ganja go are concerned. Over the last weeks I've tried Damiana, Wild Dagga, Skullcap, Calea Zacatechichi, green tea and combinations of these. It's not quite a foolproof device, but this is what comes of allowing users greater control. Once you get a feel for the proper fan-speed/temp ratio for the herb you’re trying to vape, it is the money.
As a final note I have not so much a critique as a feeling, and it is something I've heard very few people about. It is that, particularly when I'm already high, it is a somewhat, how to put this, estranging feeling to have a microprocessor aided electronic system help me in getting my daily canabaloids. Maybe it’s just pot paranoia, but some nights I look at this thing and feel like I’ve invited a sinister interdimensional being into my life, like any moment it could transform into a little, heavily armed robot, or something like that, and commence ripping up my soul. I don't know if anyone else knows that feeling of having bought a new piece of electronic equipment and it just utterly fails having it utterly fail to integrate into your home for no readily apparent reason. It just sits there, smugly shining while its LED lights menacingly blink. Maybe it just takes time to get used to it, and there was a time not so long ago when it seemed inconceivable to have a computer in the living room as well, but still.
Maybe what I'm trying to say with all this is that the visual craziness factor of the Extreme is something which needs to be taken into consideration . Put it this way: I'd much rather get caught smoking a fat blunt than while filling a vapour balloon, and having to explain what the hell it is I'm doing. That goes for vaporizing in general though, despite the fact that it's healthier in so many ways, to an uninformed outsider it would probably come across as pretty depraved, on par with smoking crack or sniffing glue out of the sandwich bag.
