For centuries the people of Ketama, North Morrocco have led a life that is intricately tied with the local hashindustry. For them hashish is their daily bread, as a bartering good, as the basis of a social system. In Hashisch, documentary maker Daniel Grabner tries to illustrate the life of the people of North Morocco with and in the hashindustry.

The VHS has English subtitles. The DVD offers English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portugese and Dutch subtitles.
