Turn On, Tune in, Drop out

Written in the psychedelic era, "Turn On, Tune in, Drop out" is Timothy Leary at his best, beckoning with humor and irreverence, a visionary of individual empowerment, personal responsibility and spiritual awakening.

I ordered this book because I wanted to know more about the ideas of one of the most famous figures out of the psychedelic sixties. I found out that Timothy Leary was a veru intelligent philosopher with provocative, but defenitely interesting ideas about psychedelics, about society, about life and about the mind. I can recommend this book. Even if you consider it to be too provocative, then still it provides you a completely different perspective than that of the normal, power-based `tv-stage society` as Leary calls it himself. Besides the book can be hepful in philosophing about your own trips and the book has some pretty artistic chapters.
